  20.    Chaos Chronicle (CC) is a monthly
  21. newspaper made for the upper class of
  22. the Commodore World.  INC feels that we
  23. are the most qualified group to do this
  24. because we have contributed so much and
  25. have been around for such a long time.
  26. This  newspaper  is  a  PRO-INC
  27. publication, so if you see articles
  28. written that support INC, now you know
  29. why.  Someone once said that if you
  30. don't like something, change it.  So we
  31. have, and this newspaper is what we
  32. feel a newspaper should be.  We know
  33. other groups have failed to bring you a
  34. good USA newspaper/magazine and we also
  35. know you are tired of seeing European
  36. magazines rank us!  That is why INC
  37. shall do their best job providing you
  38. with a quality newspaper.  This version
  39. of CC is typed in 40 columns so we
  40. recommend viewing it with Chaos Reader.

  47.    We in C.C. are very sorry that this
  48. is the only article for this months
  49. edition.  No one seems to want to write
  50. an article unless asked, so that is why
  51. I am going to ask for an article from
  52. every group that is in the GROUP NEWS.
  53. If your group is listed there, then
  54. C.C. will expect an article from you
  55. guys.  If your group is not listed or
  56. if you are an individual, then we still
  57. would like an article from you.  We DO
  58. NOT want an article about what happened
  59. in your group this month.  We want an
  60. article about something you feel
  61. pirates would want to read, like maybe
  62. something you know a lot about or you
  63. feel strongly about.  When you get the
  64. article done, call INC HQ and send it
  65. on up.  We ask EVERY GROUP for an
  66. article, to be sent to us by the 25th
  67. of every month.  Thanks.

  73. Flyboy took down his BBS after it did
  74. not make the TOP 5 BBSs in the USA.  He
  75. has quit the 64 computer scene and
  76. plans to buy an Amiga.

  78. Jacahan was caught for having codes on
  79. his BBS (The Neutral Zone).  The
  80. authorities claim they were monitoring
  81. his BBS for a year.  It is suspected
  82. that Depeche Mode, author of DMBBS,
  83. supplied the law enforcements with a
  84. back door to view his BBS.

  86. Phantasm is bringing back RFO for the
  87. third time.  He plans to include
  88. Asterix and Eclipse.

  90. Pudwerx has two cats named Horizon and
  91. Master Kracker.

  93. Occult died and some of the old members
  94. formed a new group called Optical.
  95. They consist of DYS, Death Hawk, and
  96. Paninaro.  They are trading with
  97. Illusion and Legend, although there are
  98. rumors that part of Illusion is still
  99. trading with Exodus.  Legend plans to
  100. return to Excalibur as soon as X-factor
  101. gets a new powerpack.

  103. J.J. the Breaker is back from sea and
  104. plans to crack once again.

  106. Fusion returned to the scene this
  107. month.  It is not known who all of the
  108. members are, but they claim that there
  109. are some original members.

  111. Bod of Talent programmed BOING.

  113. This month, Eclipse released a demo
  114. about me called 'Fish-Ego'.  Son, I am
  115. not ashamed of my ego and never have
  116. tried to hide it; I have EARNED it.
  117. You say I place too much importance on
  118. releasing wares?  Well, I think more
  119. people will load our releases than load
  120. your demos.  Demos are nice, but not
  121. when you mimic them from European
  122. coders.  Also, why am I not able to
  123. judge your demos?  If you can judge our
  124. imports, then I can certainly judge
  125. your demos.  You too have released shit
  126. demos, under Impulse.  Do not avoid the
  127. main statement from last month, that
  128. you clone European demos.  If anyone is
  129. hiding from reality, it is you.  You
  130. take your drugs to escape the truth.
  131. Snaggletooth, get some braces for your
  132. crooked, black teeth before people
  133. start mistaking them as teeth from a
  134. SHARK.

  137. party at his house this month.  He
  138. needs people to help dig a ditch for

  170. well.  Three days later, the NEC
  171. version came out and was spread to the
  172. majority of the BBSs.

  208. *An incredible month for quality
  209. imports.  Not too many problems this
  210. month, so let's get started.  P-47 was
  211. released just under the Legend name.
  212. They claim they NTSC-fixed the game,
  213. but in fact, all they did was take out
  214. the music and sound effects.  Without
  215. those, the game play is terrible and
  216. boring.  Great Courts was first
  217. released by Excalibur, but their
  218. version played music instead of sound
  219. effects all throughout the game.  The
  220. sound effects are needed to hear if
  221. your ball bounces out on close calls.
  222. If it would have been the NTSC-fix that
  223. messed it up, then Excalibur would have
  224. received the point, but it was the
  225. crack.  Sorry, the 100% version takes
  226. the point.  Some people thought
  227. Championship Jetski Sim. was old, but
  228. this was a new version for expert
  229. players.  X-out was split because both
  230. groups had their versions spread well.

  319. ATC - These guys are still managing to
  320. be very competitive.  Pudwerx is
  321. claiming to have a secret weapon to
  322. make his group exceed even more.  What
  323. could it be?

  325. Excalibur - This group is falling
  326. apart, fast.  Cavalier claims to be no
  327. longer active in the computer world.
  328. Gizmo and X-factor's powerpack blew
  329. towards the end of the month.  I still
  330. have a feeling though, that these guys
  331. will still be competitive.

  333. Exodus - A very good month for these
  334. guys.  The future looked bleak when the
  335. Executioner was thinking about quiting
  336. pirating, but he has now returned.
  337. Illusion dropped Exodus, but I have a
  338. feeling Exdous will still be at the top
  339. without them.
