Chaos Chronicle
edition 4
released April 5th, 1990
an
International Network of Chaos
Publication
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
Publisher - THE SHARK/INC
Editor - MASTER KRACKER/INC
Chaos Chronicle (CC) is a monthly
newspaper made for the upper class of
the Commodore World. INC feels that we
are the most qualified group to do this
because we have contributed so much and
have been around for such a long time.
This newspaper is a PRO-INC
publication, so if you see articles
written that support INC, now you know
why. Someone once said that if you
don't like something, change it. So we
have, and this newspaper is what we
feel a newspaper should be. We know
other groups have failed to bring you a
good USA newspaper/magazine and we also
know you are tired of seeing European
magazines rank us! That is why INC
shall do their best job providing you
with a quality newspaper. This version
of CC is typed in 40 columns so we
recommend viewing it with Chaos Reader.

When Will You Start Writing Articles?
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
We in C.C. are very sorry that this
is the only article for this months
edition. No one seems to want to write
an article unless asked, so that is why
I am going to ask for an article from
every group that is in the GROUP NEWS.
If your group is listed there, then
C.C. will expect an article from you
guys. If your group is not listed or
if you are an individual, then we still
would like an article from you. We DO
NOT want an article about what happened
in your group this month. We want an
article about something you feel
pirates would want to read, like maybe
something you know a lot about or you
feel strongly about. When you get the
article done, call INC HQ and send it
on up. We ask EVERY GROUP for an
article, to be sent to us by the 25th
of every month. Thanks.

The Cesspool (Rumors and More)
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
Flyboy took down his BBS after it did
not make the TOP 5 BBSs in the USA. He
has quit the 64 computer scene and
plans to buy an Amiga.
Jacahan was caught for having codes on
his BBS (The Neutral Zone). The
authorities claim they were monitoring
his BBS for a year. It is suspected
that Depeche Mode, author of DMBBS,
supplied the law enforcements with a
back door to view his BBS.
Phantasm is bringing back RFO for the
third time. He plans to include
Asterix and Eclipse.
Pudwerx has two cats named Horizon and
Master Kracker.
Occult died and some of the old members
formed a new group called Optical.
They consist of DYS, Death Hawk, and
Paninaro. They are trading with
Illusion and Legend, although there are
rumors that part of Illusion is still
trading with Exodus. Legend plans to
return to Excalibur as soon as X-factor
gets a new powerpack.
J.J. the Breaker is back from sea and
plans to crack once again.
Fusion returned to the scene this
month. It is not known who all of the
members are, but they claim that there
are some original members.
Bod of Talent programmed BOING.
This month, Eclipse released a demo
about me called 'Fish-Ego'. Son, I am
not ashamed of my ego and never have
tried to hide it; I have EARNED it.
You say I place too much importance on
releasing wares? Well, I think more
people will load our releases than load
your demos. Demos are nice, but not
when you mimic them from European
coders. Also, why am I not able to
judge your demos? If you can judge our
imports, then I can certainly judge
your demos. You too have released shit
demos, under Impulse. Do not avoid the
main statement from last month, that
you clone European demos. If anyone is
hiding from reality, it is you. You
take your drugs to escape the truth.
Snaggletooth, get some braces for your
crooked, black teeth before people
start mistaking them as teeth from a
SHARK.
Jimmy'Z is holding a ditch-digging
party at his house this month. He
needs people to help dig a ditch for
his phone line.
Shark's computer caught the chicken pox
virus.

Rules for the "USA GROUP OF THE MONTH"
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
For all of the past rules, see the
previous versions of C.C. I will only
be adding new rules here. Like we said
before, INC makes the rules as we go.

*The number between the brackets show
what position that particular group was
in last month. A minus sign indicates
that the individual group was not
ranked the previous month. The only
conflict this month was that Mirage
released TVSF twice and both versions
were not 100%. INC released a 100%
version of TVSF, but it did not spread
well. Three days later, the NEC
version came out and was spread to the
majority of the BBSs.

*An incredible month for quality
imports. Not too many problems this
month, so let's get started. P-47 was
released just under the Legend name.
They claim they NTSC-fixed the game,
but in fact, all they did was take out
the music and sound effects. Without
those, the game play is terrible and
boring. Great Courts was first
released by Excalibur, but their
version played music instead of sound
effects all throughout the game. The
sound effects are needed to hear if
your ball bounces out on close calls.
If it would have been the NTSC-fix that
messed it up, then Excalibur would have
received the point, but it was the
crack. Sorry, the 100% version takes
the point. Some people thought
Championship Jetski Sim. was old, but
this was a new version for expert
players. X-out was split because both
groups had their versions spread well.

Group News
-+-+-+-+-+
ATC - These guys are still managing to
be very competitive. Pudwerx is
claiming to have a secret weapon to
make his group exceed even more. What
could it be?
Excalibur - This group is falling
apart, fast. Cavalier claims to be no
longer active in the computer world.
Gizmo and X-factor's powerpack blew
towards the end of the month. I still
have a feeling though, that these guys
will still be competitive.
Exodus - A very good month for these
guys. The future looked bleak when the
Executioner was thinking about quiting
pirating, but he has now returned.
Illusion dropped Exodus, but I have a
feeling Exdous will still be at the top
without them.
Fantasy - Technique has come back to
rebuild the Berlin Wall. Other current
members of Fantasy are Crumbsucker,
Rad Man, a*
